Our mission is to expose and assist young people in gaining the creative, personal, and educational skills that will enable them to become leaders in their communities. 

YACC believes the arts and cultural activities are a path towards personal liberation, self-sufficiency, therapy and will positively impact youth and the greater community.

YACC uses the arts to engage youth to build long-lasting mentoring relationships. This program inspires and nurtures artistic, entrepreneurial, and leadership opportunities for young people to build their talents and use them to shape the world.

Youth Arts and Culture Coalition (YACC) envisions a world where all young people have equal access to opportunities that allow them to discover and cultivate their purpose and excel in it.

Building Connections: Relationship-building is at the core of our work. We aim to develop long-lasting relationships that span adolescence and early adulthood.

Inquiry: Ask questions. Meet each youth where they are and foster their creative exploration and expressions.

Looking for Volunteers to assist youth in creative areas:

Visual Arts – Painting, Drawing, Graphics Design, Photography, Fashion Design, Sculpture…

Performing Arts – Music, Singing, Dance, theatre, Spoken Word…

Communications – Storytelling, DJ, Podcasting, MC/Hosts, Production

Culinary Arts – Food Preparation, cooking, plating, presentation, and the service of food

Events/Workshops

Quarterly Workshops focusing on skills exploration, skills development, and art therapy.

Semi- Annual Arts & Culture Festival/Show:  January & June     November & April
