Marketing and Programs Executive

Cheryl Williams-Carter is an alumna of the University of Northern Colorado and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Marketing. She has a diverse professional background in: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Sales, Concert Promotions, Event Planning, and Project Management.

Cheryl has over 25 years of experience working with some of the nation’s largest financial, educational institutions and music industry executives. To her credit she has numerous accomplishments and honors such a contributing writer for the National Credit Union Branding Strategies book, national conference speaker on customer acquisition and retention strategies named twice by the Denver Urban Spectrum as an African American who Makes a Difference and received the “Community Service Award” from Colorado Black Women for Political Action

Cheryl is the Founder and Executive Director of three successful companies and organizations: ACW Marketing and Event Planning, the Colorado Beautillion, Inc., a non-profit. These two entities have gained the respect of their peer organizations in the larger Denver metro community. Additionally, Cheryl is the successful business owner of C&W Impressions a business with a 30 year history in silk screen, embroidery and promotional products.

 Cheryl gives back to various community initiatives and serves on multiple boards: University of Northern Colorado Alumni Association and Angels’ Cove, International, Inc.

A performance driven leader who is confident in her value add through her many skills from acting, modelling, event management, and more. She has over 35 years of entertainment experience, developing processes, procedures and technology solutions all while helping others gain their own confidence and find their passions. 
Her strong background with exceptional training and experiences in influencing peers, clients and executive managers shines through to everyone she meets. She is greatly admired for her ability to quickly think on her feet and resolve issues, creating a win–‐win situation for all parties involved for every event and situation she encounters.

She is a wonderful addition to our organization.

Phoenix is the Founder of Phoenix Affect, a 17-year-old global public relations, communications, and business development firm. She has worked with many small business owners, non-profits, professional athletes, entertainers, authors, speakers, politicians, NGOs, government entities and more, helping them to manifest their desired outcomes in business. 

Phoenix takes pride in working with forward thinking, private and public entities ensuring a positive and impactful outcome for the people that they serve. “Moving the human collective forward” is her aim with every project and idea that her firm embarks on.
